Posto 10 is right across
from Rua Anibal de Mendonça.This is one
of Ipanema's prettiest cross-streets. The
first block is residential only, except
for an art gallery located in one of two
twin houses (the other is a home).
As
you walk towards Lagoa, though, you will
pass by a number of favorite restaurants,
cafes, ice-cream boutique, sophisticated
boutiques, commercial buildings with
shops on the ground floor, take your time
to explore it.
The beach has a tradition in volleyball.
Jacquie, gold medal winner in beach
volleyball in the Atlantic Olympics,
sometimes trains here. Other famous
players like Tande, and Giovanni are
sometimes also seen around. Ronald's
beach volleyball school is on the left
side of the lifeguard station. Do not
miss Duda, his black Labrador. When it's
time to go home, she hops on the bicycle
with her hat and sunglasses to go for the
ride!
