The beach experience in Ipanema would never be the same without the working class people that come from different parts of the city. They are the army of beach vendors, ready to offer you anything from a bikini to a caipirinha. The setting couldn't be prettier, there's all the pretty girls and boys to look at, but it's hard work! Some vendors cover all the distance from Arpoador to Leblon, but most have a favorite turf of 5 or 6 blocks where they usually circulate. This page is dedicated to these very special beach people.
