Of course we were at the first edition of Banda de Ipanema in 2007. The parade concentrated a number of colorful characters, many of them already well-known from previous years. Sandra Helena, the bearded drag queen, the Carmen Miranda that drags along a suitcase while singing "The South American Way" on top of her lungs...
