One of the great surprises of Jardim Botânico is the privileged view to Corcovado and the Statue of Christ the Redeemer. When you visit the statue go to its right hand side to get a bird's eye view of Rio's South Side and the Botanical Gardens. Jockey Club is right across the street, and also very easy to spot from above.
